The purpose of this committee is to handle the miscellaneous ministries. Examples of these ministry opportunities are listed below.
- Baby Basket Ministry: Assemble and deliver a ‘Welcome-Baby’ basket for members of the Fremont faith community with newborns. This can include baby supplies and a “Story Book Bible”. Notice of the new arrival can be provided the Connections coordinator, MOPS group, and Refresh group
- Mother’s and Father’s Day: Organize and distribute gifts of recognition for the mothers and fathers within the Fremont faith community.
- Blessing Bags: Assemble for distribution to community members in need, such as homeless.
- Home Repair: Facilitate minor home repairs for members of the Fremont faith community who are unable to do their own work due to age, infirmity or finances.
- Veteran’s Day: Organize and distribute the gifts of recognition for Veteran members of the Fremont faith community. Create and distribute care packages to members currently serving on active duty.
- Meal Train: This is a very important ministry that delivers or provides meals to members of the Fremont faith community who are unable to provide for themselves due to short-term illness or recovery from medical issues. We now use the online services of http://mealtrain.com
